That’s tropical storm Dolly. The Storm-Naming Folks published even before this storm was named, that Dolly was on the list long before Dolly Parton died. If anyone chose this coincidence, it was Dolly the human.
While both came out of nowhere to be tremendous forces of nature, the comparison stops there. Dolly Parton was sweet, spicy, and never forgot who she was or where she came from. You would be hard-pressed to find someone who did more for regular folk in this country (and many others) than Dolly.
Dolly the storm is expected to dwindle and fade away, something Dolly the human never did.

As someone in The Boston Globe wrote: Be a Dolly, not a Donald!
Good advice! One very much beloved because of her generosity and love for everyone across the board; the other pitied because of his hatefulness toward almost anyone and everyone.
Love, Aunt Marie
Why, yes, I do keep a tab to the national hurricane center (https://www.nhc.noaa.gov) open on my browser year-round. It’s a gateway to all kinds of stuff!
