Yes, I am perfectly aware that the boys could ask any of the girls at the monastery whether Allison has wings. However, they do not live in the a world where logic applies the same way it does here. They live in an anime world.

Lots of names have gone past, but really all you need right now are:

Allison, an American transfer student.
Seiji, the sarcastic, sometimes overdramatic boy who sits next to her in school, who has some clouds in his past. He actually made a little bit of sense in this episode. Sorry. My bad.
Ruchia, the girl who sits on the other side of Allison, a nice girl with clouds in her past.
Kaneda, an earnest, geeky boy who has volunteered to befriend Allison to learn her dark secrets.

Subsequent chapters will assume you have forgotten all other names, and probably the above names as well.
